eServices 2024 New Features
Web Stable releases are automatically applied to the service; however, some features are dependent on Dental4Windows too. To receive the full benefits of the eService features we recommend being on the latest build of Dental4Windows.

eServices New Feature Release Web Stable 55
The following new and enhanced features are available in Web Stable 55 and higher.
Provider Profile
These languages have been added to the Provider profile
- Swedish
- Arabic
- Kurdish
- Assyrian
- Chaldian
Fixes/Optimisations
- The format error was corrected during the sign-up process
- NZD: The error that occurred when using the NZD currency has been resolved
- The block list is now working
- The promotions are using the local time zone
- Email confirmation is using the local time zone
eServices New Feature Release Web Stable 54
The following new and enhanced features are available in Web Stable 54 and higher.
Block Patient Numbers
This feature enables practices to stop certain mobile numbers from booking an appointment online.
Patient Discovery Improvements
The practice can add practice and provider profile details that will be used by the partners within Patient Discovery.
Easy booking – mandatory email
The practice can make it mandatory for the patient to enter an email when using the Easy Booking mode.
Autofill SMS Codes on Mobile Phones
When the patient is required to enter an SMS code when using their mobile phone browser. The patient has the option to have the SMS code auto filled. This saves the patient from moving between applications.
Practice Selection
When the patient needs to select a location when booking an appointment online, the pop-up screen has been increased to allow for more practices to be seen at once.
eServices New Features Release Web Stable 53
The following new and enhanced features are available in Web Stable 53 and higher.
Sharing a form with multiple locations
This feature allows practices with multiple locations to share a form to all or selected practices at once.
Sorting of Forms
There has been an enhancement to how the forms can be arranged within Form Builder. The form can be dragged and dropped into position. To ensure the correct position, the dropped form will be highlighted for a few seconds.
Read Only Mode
The practice whilst in Form Builder can open a form in read only mode.
eForm Management
Within Form builder the control buttons have been arranged into an easy accessible drop down list.
eServices New Feature Release Web Stable 52
The following new and enhanced features are available in Web Stable 52 and higher.
Promotions can be displayed in eAppointments
This feature enables a promotion to be displayed on the search page of eAppointments
eAppointments : Fees added to reason
This feature enables a fee to be added to any appointment reason. The price can be different for each provider.
eAppointments: Booking appointments for the family
Enhancements have been made to this feature, to make it convenient for the patient to add a family member when making an appointment and create a password for the individual family members.
eServices New Feature Release Web Stable 51
The following new and enhanced features are available in Web Stable 51 and higher.
Provider Profiles available in Extended Search
This feature has been designed to enable information about the provider e.g., a photo, languages spoken, and qualifications, to be displayed within the extended search of eAppointments. This information can be updated on the Provider Profile page.
Title Page for eForms
A feature has been created that enables a title page to be added to eForms.
Book Several Appointments at once
When the patient is logged into their eAppointments account, they will have the option to turn on the feature Book Several Appointments located on the booking page

The following new and enhanced features are available in Web Stable 50 and higher.
Provider Reasons List
Each practice or organisation can create and manage its own provider reason list
Appointment Reason List removed
The appointment Reason list page has been removed (Internal)
Autofill of the Address Field, State, Postcode and Suburb field
When entering an address, a list of suggested addresses will appear for selection. Once the address is selected the State, Postcode and Suburb will be automatically updated.
Redirection Link and Link eForms to eAppointments are both available to the patient after making an online booking
When a patient has completed a booking online, they can be redirected to complete an eForm. When the form is completed, the patient can be redirected to a designated hyperlink. This will only happen if both link eForms to eAppointments and the redirection link have been selected.
Individual eForms can be redirected to a hyperlink after submitting
Each eForms can be set up to be redirected to any hyperlink after completing the form
Password Strength meter
When creating or modifying a password for an eService account the user will be advised if the password is weak or strong.
eService New Feature Release Web Stable 49
The following new and enhanced features are available in Web Stable 49 and higher.
Edit Email Templates
An enhancement has been made to email templates enabling changes to be made to
- Appointment requests
- Appointment declined
- New Form submitted
- New User Registration
- Customize the sign-up email
- Password for recovery email
Multiple Locations, Predictive Search for Practice for eForms
For multiple locations within eForms- the predictive search is available for the selection of the practice location. Making it easier and faster for the patient.
Reason with Preset Slot Deletion process
Before deleting a reason that is linked to a preset slot in the Provider reason list, a warning will appear advising what will happen if you decide to continue with the process.
eService New Features Patch
The following patch has made enhancements to eServices.
Return to the Top of the Form
A button has been added to eForms to allow the user to return to the top of the form in one click.
A name change for My Cabinet
Within eService, the hamburger icon named My Cabinet has been changed to Menu.
eService New Feature Release Web Stable 47
The following new and enhanced features are available in Web Stable 47 and higher.
Numeric Keyboard for Mobiles
The numeric keyboard will appear for all number and date fields.
Postcode Search
During the search of a state, the full name of the state will appear.
Add Hyperlinks in eForms
A hyperlink can be added to eForms
eService New Features Release - D4W/PS Build 5118
The following new and enhanced features are available in Build 5118 and higher of D4W/ PS. You may need to wait for eService to be upgraded for these features to take place.
Filling eForms externally without registration - Guest eForms
This enables the patient to complete eForms away from the practice without having to register or log in to an account
Security Audit Trails: Deleted eForms report
A report can be generated of the eForms that have been deleted
eService New Features Release - D4W/PS Build 5029
The following new and enhanced features are available in Build 5029 and higher of D4W/ PS. You may need to wait for eService to be upgraded for these features to take place.
eAppointments - Removing a Reason in the eService Portal will update in D4W
When a reason is deleted in the eService portal and the reason is linked to a preset slot in D4W. The system will advise changing the reason in D4W or the reason will be replaced with none.
eForms - Modification to the message if mandatory fields are missing when Generating an Access Code
When generating the access code for eForms if the mandatory fields were not populated a message would appear. This message has been modified.
eForms - Created an Audit Trail for Deleted eForms
A security setting has been created for deleted eForms. By introducing this security setting a Deleted eForms report can be created.
eService New Feature Release Web Stable 46
The following new and enhanced features are available in Web Stable 46 and higher.
eAppointments: The Appointment Reason None is not visible
The Appointment reason none is hidden to allow for a better workflow for the patient making an appointment.
eAppointments: The Weekly display of appointments has been increased
For the patient's experience when searching for appointments on the desktop the view of appointments has increased. When they select This Week, Next Week, Next Available and more appointments are available a more button will appear. For the mobile version, the patient can keep scrolling the page until no more appointments are available.
eAppointments: On the Search Page the Provider and Reasons order can be customised.
The search page has been designed so the Provider and Reasons can appear in alphabetical order, or the order is chosen by the practice
A Simple Search for Locating Appointments
For the patient making an appointment on the desktop, there is new interface for multi-location practices.
Improvements to Creating an Account
For the patient creating an account, modifications have been made to make the process easier.
- The title Ms has been set as the default
- Selecting a practice from multi-locations is made easier with the introduction of predictive text
- For the mobile version, the numeric keyboard will display when entering the mobile number or confirmation code
Improvements to Easy Booking Mode
For the patient using Easy Booking mode, modifications have been made for a better patient experience. Before closing out of the feature, and after the patient receives the confirmation of their appointment:
- They can view the appointment in Appointment History
- They can make another appointment without entering the details again
