Custom Settings for Automation features. Note that the settings are listed here alphabetically for easier search & read, however may not be in the same order in D4Web.

Where to find the General Setting

Click the navigation menu > Location Setup > General page > Group: Automation

Settings

Turn on Automation

Yes = To activate feature

The Automation module can be found in Management > Automation page

Network path to templates for Automation mailmerge feature

When creating E-mail and Letter templates, the path to the templates folder needs to be specified. 

This is usually in a shared folder on the server. Example: \\server\Data\SharedData\Template\AutoTemplate

Consult an IT Technician or our Support department if assistance is required.

Set Automation Appointment Reminders, Recalls, Queries and Debtors E-mail

If using Automation for Appointment Reminders, Recalls, Queries and/or Debtors the e-mail send method should be selected.

File Attached RTF = The letter is sent as a file attached to the e-mail (not recommended)

HTML format =The letter will be sent in the body of the e-mail (recommended)
