General Settings Group for "Charting" in Dental4Web

Where to find the General Setting

Click the navigation menu > Location Setup > General page > Group: Charting

Settings

Age at which MIXED CHARTING begins

When accessing the patient's Charting, the default chart displayed is based on the patient's age.
Enter the age at which Mixed Charting begins. (Default = 6)
Any patients younger than the selected age will have a deciduous chart as default chart.

Final Age where MIXED CHARTING applies

When accessing the patient's Charting, the default chart displayed is based on the patient's age.
Enter the final age at which Mixed Charting applies. (Default = 13)
Any patients older than the selected age will have an adult chart as the default.

Mode of Charting

Here you can Activate 2D and / or 3D Charting:
2D Charting Only = 3D Charting page will not be available
3D Charting Only = 2D Charting page will not be available
2D and 3D Charting = Both Charting pages will be visible 

Sequence of Perio Charting way round

The sequence of Perio Charting can be changed.
All teeth for each cell = Complete same measurements for every tooth before restarting next measurement
All cells for each tooth = Complete all measurements on each tooth before moving to the next tooth  

Colour in 3D Charting

When viewing 3D Charting, the background colour can be changed. Click the drop list on the right and select from the colour palette

    Condition Text Colour in 3D Charting

    When viewing 3D Charting, the condition text colour can be changed from the default colour to one of your choice.
    Click the drop list on the right and select from the colour palette

    Hint Background Colour in 3D Charting

    When viewing 3D Charting, the hint background colour can be changed from the default colour to one of your choice.
    Click the drop list on the right and select from the colour palette

    Hint Font Size in 3D Charting

    When viewing 3D Charting, the size of the hints text can be changed. Select from 8,- 16. (10 default)

      Hint Text Colour in 3D Charting

      When viewing 3D Charting, the hint text colour can be changed from the default colour to one of your choice.
      Click the drop list on the right and select from the colour palette

        Layer Text Colour in 3D Charting 

        When viewing 3D Charting, the layer text colour can be changed from the default colour to one of your choice.
        Click the drop list on the right and select from the colour palette

        Notes Font Size in 2D Charting

        When viewing 2D Charting, the size of the notes text can be changed. Select from 8, to 16 (10 default)

        Notes Font Size in 3D Charting

        When viewing 3D Charting, the size of the notes text can be changed. Select from 8to 16 (10 default)

        Notes Text Colour in 2D Charting

        When viewing 2D Charting, the size of the notes text can be changed. Click the drop list on the right and select from the colour palette

        Notes Text Colour in 3D Charting

        When viewing 3D Charting, the size of the notes text can be changed. Click the drop list on the right and select from the colour palette

        Notes Background Colour in 3D Charting

        When viewing 3D Charting, the notes background colour can be changed. Click the drop list on the right and select from the colour palette

        Picture in 3D Charting

        When viewing 3D Charting, the background can be replaced by a picture. Select from the drop list

        Set Display Controls in 3D Charting

        When viewing 3D Charting, the position of the control Panel can be changed.
        Left = Controls are displayed on the left (default setting)
        Right = Controls are displayed on the right
        This setting can also be changed in the Charting page. 

        Show CPITN Score

        The patient's CPITN (Community Periodontal Index of Treatment Needs) score can be displayed in the 2D and 3D Charting pages.

        Show Hints in 3D Charting

        When viewing 3D Charting, hints added to an item number can be displayed.
        Yes = Hints are displayed (default setting)

        Show Notes in 3D Charting

        When viewing 3D Charting, notes entered on a tooth can be displayed.
        Yes = Notes are displayed (default setting)

        Show Patient Documents in 2D Charting

        When viewing 2D Charting, the patient's Documents can be displayed.
        No = Document Manager is not displayed
        Yes = Document Manager is displayed

        Show Patient Documents in 3D Charting

        When viewing 3D Charting, the patient's Documents can be displayed.
        No = Document Manager is not displayed
        Yes = Document Manager is displayed

        Show Surface Border in 3D Charting

        When viewing 3D Charting, the surface borders on each tooth can be displayed.
        No = No border is displayed (default setting)
        Yes = Surface borders are displayed

        Show Treatment Plan/Treatment

        When viewing Charting, the patient's Treatment Plan or Treatment can be displayed.
        None = Neither is displayed (default setting)
        Show Treatment Plan = Treatment Plan is displayed (recommended)
        Show Treatment = Treatment is displayed
        This setting can also be changed in the Charting page.

        Show quadrant separators in 2D Charting

        When viewing 2D Charting, the quadrants can be separated by a feint border.
        Yes = A divider appears between the quadrants

        Show quadrant separators in 3D Charting

        When viewing 3D Charting, the quadrants can be separated by a feint border.
        Yes = A divider appears between the quadrants

        Synchronise View: Current condition and Treatment required

        When viewing 3D Charting, Current Condition and Treatment Required can rotate in sync when using Display controls.
        No = Current Condition and Treatment Required will rotate separately (default setting)
        Yes = Current Condition and Treatment Required will rotate in sync

        Teeth Notation in Charting

        When using Charting, the numbering of the patient's teeth can be changed.
        FDI = The tooth number (e.g.18) is displayed using FDI World Dental Federation notation system (default setting) or the Fédération Dentaire Internationale 
        Descriptive = The tooth number (e.g. LR6) is displayed with the quadrant of the mouth and number of the tooth
        Universal - USA = The tooth number (e.g.30) is displayed using the tooth 1 - 32 system

        Tooth Number Colour in 2D Charting

        When viewing 2D Charting, the tooth number colour can be changed. Click the drop list on the right and select from the colour palette

        Tooth Number Colour in 3D Charting

        When viewing 3D Charting, the tooth number colour can be changed. Click the drop list on the right and select from the colour palette

        Tooth Selection Colour in 3D Charting 

        When viewing 3D Charting, the colour of the tooth surface selection can be changed. Click the drop list on the right and select from the colour palette

        Work in CHARTING without planning stage (pastes items as already done)

        When Charting in Treatment Required, the Treatment Plan can be bypassed and items entered directly into the Treatment page as done.
        No = Items are entered into Treatment Plan (default setting)
        Yes = Items are entered directly into Treatment
        This setting can also be changed in the Charting pages.
