Setup & Manage Appointment Book in D4W Mobile App

Navigating the Appointment Book

The Appointment Book can be navigated in the D4W Mobile App.
  1. From the Main Menu, tap APPOINTMENTS

Single Book view

  1. Select Single Book
  2. Tap the required Appointment Book from list

  3. There are 2 Appointment book views:
    1. Collapsed view
       
    2. Expanded view

  4. Tap the calendar
  5. Select the required date and tap OK
  6. Tap Today to return to todays date
  7. To navigate through the different Appointment books you can either tap the < arrow to go back to the main screen or use swipe <left or right> to move to the previous/next Appointment book or select book from the hamburger menu

Multiple Book view

  1. Select Multiple Book
  2. Tap the required Appointment Book Group
    from list
    Info
    Note: Appointment Book Groups are setup in D4Web

  3. View the Group name and use < arrows > to move to previous or next book

  4. The default number of books shown is 3 days, change the view by clicking on 3b and select up to 6 from the list
  5. Tap to view calendar

  6. Select the required date and tap OK

  7. Tap Today to return to todays date

Breaks

Insert a Break to the Appointment Book

  1. From the Main Menu, tap
    APPOINTMENTS

  2. Tap the required Appointment Book

  3. Available dates and times will appear. Tap the desired time to insert a Break

  4. Tap the selected highlighted slot in yellow
  5. Tap Insert Break

  6. Modify the break details if required
    1. Work time = Yes from drop list if this break is to be included as working hours
    2. Tick Important Information to prevent the break from being deleted if a new Appointment Book Template is created
  7. Tap Insert to create the Break

  8. The Break has now been created

Modify a Break

  1. Tap the required Appointment Book
  2. Tap on the existing break in the appointment book
  3. Tap on Modify Break

  4. In the Modify break screen
    1. Adjust the time by using the - or + in the required field
    2. Change Background and/or Text colour
    3. Select Work time Yes/No
    4. Tick Important information box
  5. Tap Save to save changes and return to Appointments

Delete a Break

Breaks can be deleted from the D4W Mobile App.
  1. From the Main Menu tap 
    APPOINTMENTS
  2. Tap the required Appointment Book

  3. Dates and times will appear. Tap the Break to be deleted

  4. The selected slot will be highlighted in yellow. Tap the break.

  5. Tap Delete Break

  6. Tap Yes to delete the Break

Preset Slots

Add Preset Slots to Appointment Day

  1. From the Main Menu, tap APPOINTMENTS
  2. Tap the required appointment book
  3. Available dates and times will appear.
  4. Tap the desired time to insert the Preset Slot

  5. If required, extend the Duration / Start at - End at time
  6. Select the Slot type from drop list (ie: Crown & Bridge work)
  7. Tap Insert to create the Preset Slot

  8. The preset slot is now visible in the appointment book

Modify Preset Slot

  1. Tap the required Appointment Book
  2. Tap on the preset slot in the appointment book
  3. Tap on Modify Preset slot

  4. Adjust the time by using the - or + in the required field
  5. Tick the Important information box
  6. Tap Save to save changes and return to Appointments
