Pre-Booked (Pre-Set) Slots

A Pre-Booked slot:

1. Is used if you have a set time each day for a certain procedure
   
2. Can be used as a guide to help the user to schedule the most suitable time slots for the type of treatment required
3. Can be added to a template or to an individual day
4. May be referred to as pre-set or pre-booked slots
   

Create New Pre-Booked (Pre-Set) Slot   

1. Click the navigation menu > Appointments
   
2. Click the hamburger menu > Setup Pre-Booked Slots
   
3. Click NEW
   
1. Description: add the name of the slot; this will show onscreen and in reports
   
2. Back Colour: select the background colour of the slot
   
3. Text Colour: select the text colour
   
4. Work Time: select if it is work time or not, e.g. Staff meetings are work time, holidays are not
   
5. Online: only available if using eAppointments. This will enable patients to book into this slot type online
   
4. Click OK
   
   

Delete a Pre-Booked (Pre-Set) Slot 

Preset slots can be deleted if they are not in use.

1. Click the navigation menu > APPOINTMENTS
   
2. Click the hamburger menu > Setup pre-booked slots
   
1. Select the Pre-Booked slot description row
   
3. Click DELETE
   
   

Appointment Classes

Setup Appointment Classes

Appointment Classes:

1. Are used to colour code appointments based on either the type of patient or planned treatment
   
2. Are added to individual appointments 

1. Click the navigation menu > Appointments
   
2. Click the hamburger menu > Setup Appointment Classes
   
1. Click ADD
   
1. Description: Enter the name of the class
   
2. Back colour: Select the colour of the class
   
3. Text colour: Select the text colour
   
2. Click OK
