Setup & Manage Documents page in D4Web

Upload / Download records (documents, applications, files, folders, images) and save/store in Patients Document page 

Where to find the Documents page

Click the navigation menu > Patients > Documents page

Accessing Documents for the first time

When accessing Documents for the first time, a folder is created automatically or can be disabled, so a folder must be created manually (see instructions below).
To select option, the General Setting must be set accordingly: 
InfoPaths & Links > Document Manager: Create folder for patient automatically = Yes/No (link coming soon)

Create New Folder in Documents

Create folders in Document page to group files for easy access. 
  1. Bring up the appropriate patient using the Find icon 
  2. Right Click on patient and select Create from the list or click Create New Folder icon

  3. Enter the name of the new folder

Change File or Folder View in Documents

The Documents page allows for folders, files and documents to be viewed in two ways
  1. Select relevant icon
    1. Thumbnail View

    2. Details View

Delete a File or Folder from Documents

When a file or document is not required (or placed incorrectly) against a patients' file it can be deleted. 
  1. Find the relevant patient
  2. Right click on the file or folder
    1. Select delete
