Below are instructions on how to search General Settings and apply General Settings to individual PC or location. 

Search General Settings

Due to the number of General Settings available, it is advised to use the Search function.

  1. Go to Location Setup > General Settings tab
  2. Record menu > Search General Settings...
    1. Setting Name: Enter keywords of the setting
    2. Click Find
      1. Select the relevant setting
      2. Click
        Go to 
  1. Go to Location Setup > General Settings tab
  2. Record menu > Search General Settings...
    1. Click Show Advanced Options
    2. Setting Name: Enter keywords of the setting
    3. Setting Value: Enter the selected option, e.g. Yes / No
    4. And / Or: Joins or separates the Setting Name and Value entries
    5. Search with Wildcards: Tick to search using the below rules
      1. Wildcard Rules 

    6. Search in Hidden Parameters: Only Centaur Employees have the ability to search this
    7. Click Find
      1. Select the relevant setting
      2. Click Go to   

Apply General Settings to Individual PC or Location

General Settings can be applied to an individual PC or the whole location. Additionally, some settings are considered Global and cannot be altered to individual.
 - Setting will apply to the current PC only
 - Setting will apply to all PC's at this location
 - This is a Global setting, and is for all locations
To change the setting from Location to Individual, or vice-versa, double click on the image.
