Manage Practice Location information in Dental4Web

The Practice Location and most information was setup at initial install time, however the location page also allows the approved user to edit, add ABN's, Logos & letterheads, departments etc

Australian Business Number (ABN)

Add ABN

  1. Click the navigation menu > Location Setup > Location page
  2. Record toolbar > Business Entities List
  3. Click ADD NEW
    1. Enter details of the ABN
    2. Click OK 
  1. Click the navigation menu > Management > Providers page
  2. Select the provider from the Provider drop list
    1. Select the appropriate ABN from the GST No drop list

Location Letterhead & Logo

The Location Letterhead will appear on all Invoices, Receipts and Treatment Plans printouts

  1. If using the Practice wide letterhead & Logo, ensure the option to print Location Letterhead is selected from the general settings before proceeding 
  2. The other option is to print Provider Letterhead, where each provider has their own Letterhead & Logo setup.
  1. Click the navigation menu > Location Setup > Location page
  2. Select the Location required (only available with multiple Location environments)
    1. Enter/update the required information
    2. Click LETTERHEAD & LOGO SETUP

  3. FIND LOGO:
    1. Click Browse to find logo 
    2. Click UPLOAD

  4. REMOVE: 
    1. Click REMOVE to remove the logo
  5. DESIGN A4 / DESIGN A5: You can resize and change image and text fields position using drag/drop technique
    1. Click on text field or image to select it
    2. Resize using mouse or move using mouse or cursor keys
    3. Choose text field font by clicking button [ A ], pressing [ B ] button makes text bold, [ I ] - italic and [ U ] - underlined
    4. Change text alignment in field using assigned buttons
    5. Dash lined rectangle restrict visible area for printing letterheads in documents
    6. Click SAVE

  6. Back in the 'Location Letterhead & logo Setup' window:
    1. Enter letterhead details to be used for this provider
    2. Click OK when complete

Set the Time Zone of a Location

  1. Click the navigation menu > Location Setup > Location page
    1. Select the Location
    2. Select the required Time Zone from the drop list

Multi-Departments 

When adding items to Treatment Plan and/or Treatment tabs, a Department can be selected to indicate what the item relates to.
Any location can create departments, assign treatment procedures for a department and print out reports (coming soon) with data divided by departments.

Activate Multi-Department

Add New Departments

  1. Click the navigation menu > Location Setup > Location page
  2. In the Departments section found at the bottom of the Locations page
    1. Click ADD
    2. Type in the department name
    3. Select the manager from the drop list and include optional phone number
    4. repeat a - c steps for each new department

Using Multi-Departments in Treatment

  1. Click the navigation menu > Patients > Treatment page
    1. Select the Department name from the main drop list
    2. Or select for each treatment row
