Listed below are instructions on how to setup custom patient fields and setup medications and routes.

NABIDH: Setup Medications and Routes

New Medications and Routes can be added. It is recommended to include only relevant Medications and Routes to ensure accuracy in prescriptions. When adding a new medication to the system, ensure the appropriate administration routes are added so they can be selected accordingly.

Add a New Medication Route

  1. Go to Location Setup > System Tables
  2. In System Tables drop down list select Medications: Route of Admin
  3. Click Add   
                                                                                     
    1. Code: Enter the valid drug route of admin code
    2. Description: Enter a description of the Medication Route
    3. Is Active: Tick to make Medication Route active

Add New Medication

  1. Go to Location Setup > System Tables
  2. In System Tables drop down list select Medications
  3. Click Add

    1. Code: Enter valid drug code
    2. Description: Enter description of Medication                         
    3. Single Dose: Enter the single dose of medicine
    4. Dosage Unit: Enter the dosage unit of medicine
    5. Dosage Form: Enter the dosage form of medicine
    6. Route of Admin: Select Route of Admin from drop down list
    7. Is Active: Tick to make Medication Route active

NABIDH: Setup Custom Patient Fields

InfoThe following see Custom Patient Fields section need to be setup for NABIDH.
  1. Go to Location Setup > System Tables

  2. Select Custom Patient Fields in System Tables drop down menu
  3. Click Add

Residency Type

  1. Field Name: Residency Type
  2. Field Type: Drop Down List Box
  3. Click Add and enter the following new Values one at a time 
    1. UAE Citizen
    2. Resident
    3. International Patient
  4. Click OK to add Value
  5. Click OK to save Field

NABIDH Opt In/Opt Out

  1. Field Name: NABIDH Opt In/Opt Out
  2. Field Type: Drop Down List Box
    1. Click Add and enter the following new Values one at a time 
      1. Opt In - Click Default as this should be selected by default
      2. Facility Opt Out - Patient does not want to share facility clinical data with NABIDH
      3. Global Opt Out - Patient does not want to share any clinical data with NABIDH
  3. Click OK to add Value
  4. Click OK to save Field

Passport Number

  1. Field Name: Passport Number
  2. Field Type: String
  3. Click OK

GCC Number

  1. Field Name: GCC Number
  2. Field Type: String
  3. Click OK
