NABIDH: Appointment Messages
Listed below are instructions on Appointment check-in (patient registration) message, appointment check out (patient discharge) message, check out message and message management.
NABIDH: Appointment Check In (Patient Registration) Message
The user must ensure all patient information is correctly entered into the system before marking a patient as Checked In. Once an Appointment is Checked in, if the appointment is deleted or rescheduled a Reverse Check in message must be sent.
- Go to Appointment Book
- Right click patients booked appointment > Checked in

- If there is any pending custom NABIDH fields, enter data in box e.g. Residency Type (mandatory)
- Click OK
- When the appointment is checked in admission notification message will go to NABIDH, if failure error message appears, make necessary corrections
- In case of failure resend message to NABIDH from NABIDH Message Management (see below section) window
NABIDH: Reverse Check in (Patient Registration Cancellation) Message
If Checked In action is reversed a Patient Registration Cancellation message will be sent to NABIDH.
- To reverse Check In, right click patients appointment and click Checked In

- Click Yes
- Patient Registration Reversal message will be sent to NABIDH
- To view message go to NABIDH Message Management window
NABIDH: Appointment Checkout (Patient Discharge) Message
When a provider completes patient Check out, the discharge message along with a NABIDH Clinical Report gets submitted. Check out of a patient can only be done by a provider. Clinical report is the clinical document shared to NABIDH.
Clinical Report will include:
- Patients History
- Vitals
- Medication
- Periodontal Charting
- Charting
- Treatment Plan
- Treatment
- ICD
- Notes
Along with the Document Notification, Update Patient information message (this includes reason for attendance and Allergies) and Problem Message will be sent if its available
- Go to Appointment Book
- Right click on patients appointment > Checked Out

- Click OK to message
- The NABIDH Clinical Report and Discharge message will be automatically submitted to NABIDH
- Click OK
- To view Patient Discharge message and NABIDH Clinical report along with message type with status response click Go to menu > NABIDH Message Management
NABIDH: Checkout Message
When a Provider completes patient Check out, along with the discharge message a Nabidh Clinical Report gets automatically submitted to Nabidh. Check out of a patient can only be done by a provider.
- Go to Appointment Book > right click on patients booked appointment > Checked Out

- Click OK
- The Nabidh Clinical Report along with the Discharge Report will be submitted to Nabidh

NABIDH: Reverse Check Out (Patient Discharge Cancellation) Message
If the Checked out action is reversed a Discharge Message Cancellation and a Clinical Report Cancellation message will be sent to NABIDH.
- To reverse Checked out status, right click patients appointment and click ticked Checked out

- Click Yes
- Patient Discharge Cancellation message and Clinical Report Cancellation message will be sent to NABIDH
- To view message go to NABIDH Message Management window
NABIDH: Message Management
All messages and message attempts to NABIDH will appear in the NABIDH Message Management window.
- Click Go To menu > NABIDH Message Management
- Select Location (if applicable)
- Select date range to view messages e.g. Today
- Select what messages to view
- All: View all messages
- Passed: View Passed messages only
- Failed: View Failed messages only
- Date/Time: Date and time of message
- Patient: Patient name relating to message
- Appointment: Details of patients appointment
- Episode: The encounter number of the appointment
- Provider: The doctor selected in the "For Provider" field of the appointment
- Message Type: Type of message sent
- Response: The Response column contains the status of the message if it has passed, or the reason for failure if an error is available
- Message Content: The HL7 message content that is pushed to NABIDH
- Resend: Click to resend any failed messages (recommended)
