Listed below are instructions on Appointment check-in (patient registration) message, appointment check out (patient discharge) message, check out message and message management.

NABIDH: Appointment Check In (Patient Registration) Message

The user must ensure all patient information is correctly entered into the system before marking a patient as Checked In. Once an Appointment is Checked in, if the appointment is deleted or rescheduled a Reverse Check in message must be sent. 

  1. Go to Appointment Book
  2. Right click patients booked appointment > Checked in

  3. If there is any pending custom NABIDH fields, enter data in box e.g. Residency Type (mandatory)
  4. Click OK   
                                                                                                                                               
  5. When the appointment is checked in admission notification message will go to NABIDH, if failure error message appears, make necessary corrections
  6. In case of failure resend message to NABIDH from NABIDH Message Management (see below section) window

NABIDH: Appointment Checkout (Patient Discharge) Message

When a provider completes patient Check out, the discharge message along with a NABIDH Clinical Report gets submitted. Check out of a patient can only be done by a provider. Clinical report is the clinical document shared to NABIDH.

Clinical Report will include:

  1. Patients History
  2. Vitals
  3. Medication
  4. Periodontal Charting
  5. Charting
  6. Treatment Plan
  7. Treatment
  8. ICD
  9. Notes

Along with the Document Notification, Update Patient information message (this includes reason for attendance and Allergies) and Problem Message will be sent if its available

  1. Go to Appointment Book
  2. Right click on patients appointment > Checked Out

  3. Click OK to message     
                                                                                                                   
  4. The NABIDH Clinical Report and Discharge message will be automatically submitted to NABIDH
  5. Click OK       
                                                                                                                                        
  6. To view Patient Discharge message and NABIDH Clinical report along with message type with status response click Go to menu > NABIDH Message Management

NABIDH: Checkout Message

When a Provider completes patient Check out, along with the discharge message a Nabidh Clinical Report gets automatically submitted to Nabidh. Check out of a patient can only be done by a provider. 
  1. Go to Appointment Book > right click on patients booked appointment > Checked Out

  2. Click OK     
                                                                                                                                           
  3. The Nabidh Clinical Report along with the Discharge Report will be submitted to Nabidh

NABIDH: Message Management

All messages and message attempts to NABIDH will appear in the NABIDH Message Managment window.
  1. Click Go To menu > NABIDH Message Management     
                                                  
  2. Select Location (if applicable)
  3. Select date range to view messages e.g. Today
  4. Select what messages to view
    1. All: View all messages
    2. Passed: View Passed messages only
    3. Failed: View Failed messages only
  5. Date/Time: Date and time of message
  6. Patient: Patient name relating to message
  7. Appointment: Details of patients appointment
  8. Episode: The encounter number of the appointment
  9. Provider: The doctor selected in the "For Provider" field of the appointment
  10. Message Type: Type of message sent
  11. Response: The Response column contains the status of the message if it has passed, or the reason for failure if an error is available
  12. Message Content: The HL7 message content that is pushed to NABIDH
  13. Resend: Click to resend any failed messages (recommended)
