Setup & Manage Teledentistry Item in D4Web

The ADA Teledentistry item 919 is for recording consultation completed by audio or through a videoconferencing platform.
Create Teledentistry Item
- Click the navigation menu > Location Setup > Items page
- Open MISCELLANEOUS Category > Miscellaneous SubCategory
- Click Procedure
- Enter item details
- Item Code: 919
- Description: Teleconsultation
- Full Description: The Remote Provision Of A Consultation To A Patient In Exceptional Circumstances Which Prevent Face To Face Consultation.

Setup Fee
- Click the navigation menu > Management > Fees page
- Select Fee level
- Click Add icon
and enter New Period Start Date
- Enter fee against item 919
Setup GST

New Zealand users will be required to setup GST for the new item.
- Click the navigation menu > Location Setup > Items page
- Record toolbar > GST tariffs
- Click Add icon
to create New Period Start Day
- Enter GST % against item 919
- Click OK

Add Item to Procedures Classifications
For Business Intelligence Module (BIM) users, the new item needs to be added to Procedures Classifications for report purpose.
- Click the navigation menu > Location Setup > Items page
- Record toolbar > Procedures Classifications
- Classification: Select the report to include the new item
- Highlight Items used 900
- Click ADD
- Select 919 from the list
- Click OK
