MediaWeb PACS: New Features
The following new and enhanced features for MediaWeb PACS are available in:

WHATS NEW
Import large files to utilise AWS short lived pre signed URLs
This feature allows for the import of a large file not causing the web server timeout. The current size of the file triggering this feature is >20MB. All the files >20MB in size will be uploaded directly to S3 (storage service) utilising this feature.

Export multiple images at once
When downloading in the viewer users can export multiple images with annotations. If multiple images need to be downloaded any additional images can be dragged and dropped into Download High Quality Image box from thumbnail.
Multiple images selected
It is now possible to select/deselect all images as well as multiple images. Images can then be Download, Printed and Opened in the viewer (maximum 9 will be open).

Image Properties include performing dentist
Image Property displays now the Performing physician details (only for the images acquired by devices)
Minimum Image Zoom out
When zooming out an image in the Viewer, the minimum is now set at approximately 30% of the viewport size.

Enhanced SOP Class is the CT multi framed 3D image where all the frames are in a single DICOM file.
This enables support to multi framed 3D CT (Computer Tomography) images where all the slices are in one large file.
Current page is now kept when changes occur
MediaWeb PACS will now keep its current page regardless if the pages are changed in Dental4Web.

Multiselect and update on the Examination page
Import multiple images to the Examination page.
Multi select images and apply manipulations such as Dental charting, rotations and flips, Notes and DICOM Modality to all of them at once.
New Annotation "Draw a temp line"
The Draw a temp line tool is a temporary annotation that can be used to demonstrate something on the image, but is not saved.

Automatic Close when Download Single Image
The image interface closes automatically, immediately after the DOWNLOAD button is clicked.

Default Modality for Imported Images
Default Modality for Imported Images will be assigned by default to all images imported by the current User.
This new option is found in Preferences: Setup preferencesExamination page without true image preview

The following sorting rules will apply to ALL pages in MediaWeb PACS:
- Studies will be sorted with the newest on top
- Series will be sorted inside the studies by the Series date and time with the newest on top
- Instances must be sorted inside Series by Acquisition date and time with the newest on top
- If the Acquisition date and/or time are absent the Series date and/or time are used
Image maximisation in the editor
Double click on an image in the editor you can alternate between the normal view and maximised view
Import calendar
The calendar on the import interface goes back to 01 January 1996

Calibrate by Polyline tool: has been added to the Measure Annotations tool
Relative Density (RD) tool: Replace Hounsfield Unit tool with The Relative Density (RD) tool
Reformat patient name: The patient’s name is displayed consistently in the format “Test, Mr John”
Saving changes: Annotations are automatically saved
Ellipse and Rectangle annotations: Text has been removed from the Ellipse and Rectangle annotations
Cosmetic changes: Image downloads & Annotation font size & colours
