The following new and enhanced features for MediaWeb PACS are available in:

ENHANCEMENTS & UPDATES

Images sorting on the Patient, Viewer & Exam pages
The following sorting rules will apply to ALL pages in MediaWeb PACS:
  • Studies will be sorted with the newest on top
  • Series will be sorted inside the studies by the Series date and time with the newest on top
  • Instances must be sorted inside Series by Acquisition date and time with the newest on top
  • If the Acquisition date and/or time are absent the Series date and/or time are used
Image maximisation in the editor
Double click on an image in the editor you can alternate between the normal view and maximised view
Import calendar
The calendar on the import interface goes back to 01 January 1996

Export Images in DICOM format
Original format Images can be exported in DICOM format.  Click here for instructions
Set dates when Importing Images
Day, Month & Year can now be selected via a calendar option. See this article for updated information
Additional Line styles
Attributes of new annotations has been enhanced, options depend on the type of annotation

IMAGES: Correctly sorted in Images and Study views
Calibrate by Polyline tool: has been added to the Measure Annotations tool
Relative Density (RD) tool: Replace Hounsfield Unit tool with The Relative Density (RD) tool
Reformat patient name: The patient’s name is displayed consistently in the format “Test, Mr John”
Saving changes: Annotations are automatically saved
Ellipse and Rectangle annotations: Text has been removed from the Ellipse and Rectangle annotations
Cosmetic changes: Image downloads & Annotation font size & colours

COMING SOON

Pearl AI “Second Opinion” interface with MediaWeb PACS. 
Limited release will commence in early July with General release scheduled a few weeks thereafter.
