Setup your own Favourites page

To add a metric to your Favourites page: 
  1. Click on the 3 dots on the right-hand side of any metric
    1. Select the Add to favourites option

    2. If the star icon is yellow, this means it has already been added to your Favourites page

  2. Once you have added the metrics that you would like to see on your Favourites page, you can navigate to your Favourites page
    1. Click the sidebar navigation menu > Favourites icon 
    2. Or select the title or from the Cabinet drop-down menu at the top right-hand side of the page and select Favourites from the list

  3. The Favourites page will now display all the metrics you have added to the page

    1. You can also arrange the metrics on this page by using the left and right arrows to move the metric one space to the left or right

Remove a metric from Favourites page

If you no longer wish to see a metric on your Favourites page:
  1. Click on the 3 dots on the right-hand side
    1. Click Remove from favourites

My Dashboards

Setup My Dashboard

Use the My Dashboards feature in Satora to create custom dashboards.
Here, you can design multiple dashboards with custom labels and effortlessly include the metrics you need. You can edit, duplicate and share your dashboards.
  1. Click the sidebar navigation menu > My Dashboards icon

  2. Click Create new dashboard button
    1. You can then add a custom Dashboard name (required).
      Notes
      Note: All dashboards created will be listed in alphabetical order.
    2. Sort into a Category (optional),
    3. Add a Description (optional) for this dashboard.
      For instance, if you're designing a dashboard to share with specific team members in your practice, you can include instructions on how to effectively utilise this dashboard in your description

    4. Click Create dashboard
Alert
  1. The name & description of this dashboard may be shared with Satora users outside your practice.
  2. Avoid sensitive or confidential information to the dashboard title. 
  3. Dashboards can only be viewed by their creator unless shared using the appropriate sharing method outlined below.

Add Metrics to My Dashboards

  1. Click on the  3 dot icon on the right-hand side of the relevant metric
    1. Select +Add to dashboard

  2. Select the dashboard/s you would like to add this metric into
    1. Click Save changes 
  3. If a new one dashboard is required, click Setup new dashboard 
    1. Follow steps for Setup new dashboard (see instructions above)
    2. Click Save changes

  4. The My Dashboards page will now display all the metrics that have been added to the page
    1. Once in the dashboard, you will be able to arrange the metrics on this page by using the left and right arrows to move the metric one space to the left or right

Remove Metrics from My Dashboards

  1. Click on the3 dot icon on the right-hand side of the relevant metric
    1. Select Remove from dashboard

Using filters on Dashboards

The metrics in Satora can use different filter types depending on the data presented in the metric.
Use the eye icon to more easily identify which filters apply to which metrics.
  1. Click the eye icon 
    1. The filters in the sidebar will change colour and the metric will be highlighted

    2. When the eye icon is selected on the metric itself, the filters applied to that metric will be shown

Managing Dashboards

Edit a dashboard

  1. Click the sidebar navigation menu > My Dashboards icon 
  2. Actions drop-down menu > Edit dashboard
    1. Rename the dashboard, or edit/add the description
    2. Click Save changes

Change Category

A category is similar to a folder where you can store multiple dashboards within the one category. 
To change the category that a dashboard is stored in: 
  1. Click the sidebar navigation menu > My Dashboards icon 
  2. Actions drop-down menu > Change category
    1. Select a dashboard from your dropdown, or type in Category to create a new one
  3. To Change the name of the category:
    1. Click the sidebar navigation menu > My Dashboards icon    
    2. Find the category
    3. Click the pencil to edit or click bin to delete the category

Duplicate dashboard

This feature is particularly useful when you need to create multiple versions or variations of certain dashboards, as it provides you with a starting point that you can subsequently modify to suit your needs.
  1. Click the sidebar navigation menu > My Dashboards icon 
  2. Actions drop-down menu > Duplicate Dashboard
    1. Type the name for your duplicate dashboard
    2. Click Copy dashboard

Share Dashboard

Share any dashboard template
  1. Click the sidebar navigation menu > My Dashboards icon 
  2. Actions drop-down menu > Share Dashboard
    1. Once the person receives the shared link and clicks on it:
    2. it will prompt that user to log into Satora (if they aren't already) and will save a copy of that dashboard into their Satora
    3. It creates a copy of the dashboard sent and is not linked in any way back to the original dashboard created

  1. You can only share a dashboard using the Share Dashboard method If you copy & paste the link directly from your web browser, the user on the other end will receive an error message
  2. Any changes made to the dashboard saved in each user's Satora login will not affect any other user
  3. If the original creator of the dashboard makes changes and would like those they shared the link with to have the updated changes, they will need to send the Share dashboard link again to those users, so they can import a copy of the updated dashboard into their Satora (this will create a second dashboard, not override the existing dashboard shared)
  4. Sharing a Satora dashboard does not transfer any practice data, only the configuration of metrics is shared. If the Satora user receiving the link to this dashboard does not have Satora permissions set corresponding to metrics in this dashboard, the data will not be visible to that user

Delete dashboard

  1. Click the sidebar navigation menu > My Dashboards icon 
  2. Actions drop-down menu > Delete dashboard
    1. If you wish to proceed. click Delete dashboard
