TYRO: Setup Terminal for Dental4Web

Tyro is an electronic insurance claim system that allows real-time claims and payments to be processed on the spot using a Tyro EFTPOS terminal.

Tyro is available to a wide range of healthcare service providers including General Dentists, Endodontists, Paediatric Dentists, Periodontists, and Prosthodontists.

Tyro currently handles the following payments and claims: 

1. Health Fund Insurance Claims and Quotations
   
2. EFTPOS Transactions
   
3. Medicare

Prerequisites: 

Internet Connection

Setup

1. Add Tyro Terminal to D4Web
   
1. Click the navigation menu > Location Setup > System Tables page
   
2. System Tables: Tyro Terminal Configuration
   
3. Click ADD
   
4. Enter the Terminal ID
   
2. Pair Terminal with PC
   
1. Click the hamburger menu > Tyro terminal Pairing
   
2. Ensure your merchant ID and terminal ID (both issued by tyro) are correct.
   
3. Click Authorise
   
3. Select Terminal 
   
1. Click the hamburger menu >Tyro Terminal Selection
   
2. Tick the terminal to use on this computer
   
3. Click OK
