A new chart should be created per visit to allow a comparison, showing progress.
Follow these steps to edit an existing perio chart's date / time / Provider.
2D and 3D charts share the same data on missing teeth. They sync directly as they are the same data, just different views.
Perio chart is a separate view.
For example: if a 2D (or 3D) chart is created (see link to instructions below) 17/3/2021 at 6PM and missing teeth are recorded on this chart, all the missing teeth are timestamped as 17/3/2021 at 6PM.If another missing tooth is added to that chart, that missing tooth is attached to 17/3/21 at 6PM.
If a new Perio chart is created (see link to instructions below) 17/3/21 at 6.05PM, it will inherit missing teeth from the most recent 2D/3D chart.
If more missing teeth are added to this Perio chart of 17/3/2021 at 6.05PM, the 2D/3D chart of 17/3/21 at 6PM will not use them, as they were not there at that time.
Within the Perio tab the user is able to compare different Periodontal recordings against each other, allowing the user to see an improvement or deterioration in a patient.
Red: Condition has become worse
Green: Condition has become better
Black: Nothing to compare
If Document Manager is turned on in Perio it appears on the right side of the screen. Files can be accessed from the Perio tab.
