Appointment Arrived, Check in & Check out in Dental4Web

Mark an Appointment as Arrived, Checked In or Out

Both a patient tracking and time tracking feature.
  1. Click the navigation menu > Appointments
  2. Right click on the appointment

  Arrived: This indicates the patient has arrived and is in the waiting room
 Checked In: This indicates the patient is in the treatment room
 Checked Out: The patient has left the treatment room
 Late: If turned on, this indicates the patient is late for their appointment

Edit Arrived, Checked In and Checked Out Times

Editing allows a user the ability to edit times if incorrect due to staff member forgetting to mark a patient’s appointment.
Editing the times is a feature that only some staff should have access to do. I.e. Practice Managers and the Principal Dentist
  1. Click the navigation menu > Appointments
  2. Click the hamburger menu > Appointment Time Data
    1. Select the period, Book and Location (if applicable) to view
    2. Click in relevant field to edit the time
    3. Click Save

Update recall date when patient is Checked Out of Appointment

Choose to have the Recall Update window appear when checking out, enabling the provider to decide on the recall rather than the front desk staff (after invoice creation)

  1. Click the navigation menu > Appointments
  2. Right Click in an Appointment > Checked Out
  3. The Update Recall Date window appears
    1. Click OK button to update the recall date
