Appointment Arrived, Check in & Check out in D4Web

Keep track of where your patient is from the moment they arrive for their appointment to the moment they leave
Mark an Appointment as Arrived, Checked In or Out
A patient and time tracking feature.
Click the navigation menu > Appointments
Right click on the appointment


Arrived: This indicates the patient has arrived and is in the waiting room
Checked In: This indicates the patient is in the treatment room
Checked Out: The patient has left the treatment room
Late: If turned on, this indicates the patient is late for their appointmentEdit Arrived, Checked In and Checked Out Times
Editing allows a user the ability to edit times if incorrect due to staff member forgetting to mark a patient’s appointment.
Editing the times is a feature that only some staff should have access to do. I.e. Practice Managers and the Principal Dentist
Click the navigation menu > Appointments
Click the hamburger menu > Appointment Time Data
Select the period, Book and Location (if applicable) to view
Click in relevant field to edit the time
Click Save

Update recall date when patient is Checked Out of Appointment
Choose to have the Recall Update window appear when checking out, enabling the provider to decide on the recall rather than the front desk staff (after invoice creation)
Setup the General Setting first. Click the navigation menu > Appointments
Right Click in an Appointment > Checked Out

The Update Recall Date window appears

Click OK button to update the recall date
