Listed below are the general setting for the group Insurance. Note that the settings listed here may not be in the same order in Dental4Windows.

Settings
Select Insurance Plan using
Users have the option to select the way an Insurance Plan is searched to be entered into the patient's file.
Activating Insurance Plan search is recommended for UAE users where multiple Insurance Plans are available for each Insurance Company.
- Select Insurance Plan using
- Drop Down List Box: Select Insurance Plan from a list
- Dialog: Select Insurance Plan from a list or typing the name
Setup Multiple Insurance Environment
Activating a Multiple Insurance Environment, allows one patient to have more than one Insurance Plan against their file, e.g. CDBS and HCF.
- Set multiple Insurance environment = Yes
Show "Please create a new Receipt" Window
When processing a Hicaps claim, after a receipt is processed (e.g. gap payment) a message advises the user to create additional receipts if required. This would usually apply if the patient is paying by several payment methods, or multiple parties are responsible for a portion of the payment.
- Show "Please create a new Receipt.." = Yes (default setting)
Show "Ready to use HICAPS" confirmation window
When processing a Hicaps claim, a window appears confirming the user is ready to connect to the Hicaps terminal. This can be disabled.
- Show "Ready to use HICAPS" confirmation window:
- Yes: The window appears when a Hicaps claim is processed
This window can also be disabled by placing a tick in the Do not show this message again checkbox
