Listed below are instructions on confirmations, specify a reason, Book an appointment for a family member or multiple appointments, create a password for a family member how a patient can sign in or sign up and how to search for appointments. 

eAppointment Confirmation

  1. The patients can indicate if the appointment is in response to a recall and add any notes for this appointment before clicking on Confirm

  • If the surgery uses the SMS services the patient will automatically receive an SMS confirmation via the mobile number they used to sign up to his/her account

  • The patient can change the confirmation method for their future reminders by clicking on their name (top, right hand cover) > Preferences

  • After a patient schedules an eAppointment, they will be automatically redirected to another URL that you have selected in Redirect Patient After Appointment Booking

eAppointments: Book an Appointment for a Family Member

If the patient has an eServices account, they can book an appointment on behalf of a family member.

Select the appointment (date and time) and reason

  1. Sign into the eService account
  2. Select Family Member or +New Member

  3. If the Family Member is selected, click the down arrow
  4. Select the family member who will be attending the appointment


  5. Click Confirm

Add New Member

When making an appointment if the family member does not appear on the drop list the family member can be added whilst making the appointment.

Once the appointment (date and time) and reason has been selected

  1. Sign into the eService account
  2. Select +New Member

  3. Enter the data 

  4. Click Save
  5. Confirm the appointment

eAppointments: Book Several Appointments at once

When the patient is logged into their eAppointments account, they will have the option to turn on the feature Book Several Appointments located on the booking page. 

The patient can book several appointments with different providers.

As the patient makes the appointments, the appointments will be listed under the Book several appointments button.

When Book all is clicked the patient has the option to allocate a family member to the appointment, write notes, and then confirm.

eAppointments: Create a Password for a Family Member

When a patient sets up an account with eServices they can make appointments on behalf of a family member. They can also create a password for a family member. 

How to Create a Password

  1. Within eServices
  2. Select 
  3. Select Family Member

  4. Select family member
  5. Select 
  6. Enter data in all fields

  7. Click Terms and Sign up
  8. The patient will be sent a confirmation code. They will need to follow the instructions to complete the set up

Patient Sign In or Sign Up

Sign In 

The patient is required to sign in before completing a booking

Dont have an account?

  1. Patients must Create Account / Sign up when first accessing the site to use eAppointments
  2. Once a patient has signed up; they simply enter their username (mobile) and password to login and schedule future appointments

Patient Sign up

  1. Patients are required to sign up to the site so that their details can be matched with their details in D4W, as well as give them access to schedule appointments

  2. Once the patient has entered their details, they must:
    1. Click Accept terms and Sign Up
    2. The below screen will appear, advising them that a confirmation code will be sent to their mobile number

    3. The patient clicks Send on the above screen
    4. The below screen will appear in which they must:
      1. Enter the code that was sent to their mobile. The code they receive will be used to finalise the sign-up process
      2. Click OK

Patient Info / My Cabinet

The patients can control their account by clicking on the hamburger icon

Upcoming Appointments

The patients will be able to see:

  1. Future appointments
  2. Appointment history including the status of their booking (Pending or Confirmed)

Patient's Profile

  1. The patient can see and edit their existing profile

Family Members

The patient can Add new Members to be linked to his/her account which allows:

  1. A family head to make appointments on behalf of a family member
  2. A member doesn't need to have a mobile number to be registered

A member can create a login after being attached to a family:

  1. A password, mobile number and email address are required to create a login
  2. A registered member can be split from a family when more than one registered member exists 
  3. A member can also be split from a family at any time

Search for Appointment(s)

Patients should Specify Reason (Appointment type) and Find Provider from the drop lists.

  1. The patient can add the reason from the Specify Reason drop list for their appointment if you have setup the feature

  2. Use the calendar to select the date or click on Today, Tomorrow, This Week, Next Week or Next available button
  3. Click on an available time button to select the appointment slot

  4. Fill out details or Create Account (Sign Up) or Sign In if you already have an account
