Alternative Treatment Plans in D4W

Create or delete an alternative treatment plan.

Create an Alternative Treatment Plan

D4W allows for alternative treatment plans to be generated for a patient, helping reduce confusion in tracking and patient comprehension. 

1. Go to Patient Records > Treatment Plan tab
2. Select the plan to create an alternative of from the Date drop list
3. Treatment Plan menu > Create Alternative Treatment Plan
   
   
4. Build the new plan
   
   
5. Switch between the two options using the Alternative Plans drop list
   
   

Delete Alternative Treatment Plan

Alternative Plans can only be deleted if they have no had items used from them, i.e. transferred to Treatment. 

1. Go to Patient Records > Treatment Plan tab
2. Select the multi-option plans from the Date drop list
3. Select the alternative plan to delete from the Alternative Plans drop list
   
   
4. Treatment Plan menu > Delete Whole Plan
