Activate Fee Surcharges for Sat/Sun/Phol
It is possible to charge a Surcharge for work completed on Weekends and/or Public Holidays.

Auto-insert a Date/time stamp in notes
When entering Treatment Notes, the date and time can be recorded from the system date.

Automatically Date/Time Stamp Notes
An option within Fast Notes is to automatically enter a date/time stamp in place of manually doing so. When activated, the date/time stamp will automatically enter once the notes have been closed/saved.

Automatically Reject Alternative Treatment Plans
When an Alternative Treatment Plan has been created, when one of the Treatment Plans is accepted the other Plans can be rejected automatically.- Automatically Reject Alternative Treatment Plans:

Clinical notes shown as
When previewing a patient's treatment clinical notes, can be changed.

- Grouped: When previewing all notes in treatment also show all items done on that date
- Line: When previewing all notes in treatment only show the item that the note is added to
Clinical Notes shown on Screen
When previewing a patient's treatment clinical notes, the way the notes are displayed can be changed.
- Clinical Notes shown on Screen
- None: If notes exist, the NT column displays as "Y" (default setting).
- Adjust Column: If notes exist, the NT column displays the notes entered.
- Tooltip: If notes exist, the NT column displays as "Y" and a preview of the notes appears when the mouse is hovered over the NT column.
- Adjust Column & Tooltip: If notes exist, the NT column displays the notes entered and a preview of the notes appears when the mouse is hovered over the NT column.
If previewing a patient's treatment clinical notes using Tooltip, the duration of the Tooltip can be changed.
- Clinical Notes Tooltip Duration (maximum 32 seconds)

Create Audit Report on changed Treatment Records
Any changes made in Treatment Plan/Treatment can be recorded and reported in Audit Trail reports.

Include Items from Lab works into Invoices
There are cases or some professions that may need to incorporate the Lab Fee directly into the invoice printouts so that the patient is aware of the Lab fee component of the whole job.
In this case the invoice printout will be the Treatment Items plus Lab Fee Item.

Insert Provider and assistant IDs into treat records automatically
When entering items into Treatment, the Provider and Assistant can be automatically inserted.

- No: The Provider and Assistant (if applicable) need to be selected manually.
- From Previous Row: Inserts the Provider and Assistant (if applicable) from the previous item entered.
- According to current provider and assistant: Inserts the Provider and Assistant (if applicable) based on the patient's main Provider and Assistant, if assigned (default setting).
Insert Provider code in ‘Transfer from Treatment Plans to Treat’ automatically?
When transferring from Treatment Plan into Treatment, you can select how to transfer provider codes.
- Insert Provider code in ‘Transfer from Treatment Plans to Treat’ automatically?
- No: The user is forced to Insert the Provider Code when transferring items from Treatment Plan
- From Treatment Plan: The system will use the Provider Code that was used in the Treatment Plan for this item (default setting)
- From Appointment Slot: Use the Provider Code of the Appointment when linked to a Treatment Plan
In treatment Plan set estimated time to complete automatically according to items settings
When entering items into Treatment Plan, the duration of the procedure can automatically appear in the min column if the preset time has been entered in the items tab.

- Yes: If you have preset time has been entered into the item, this time will automatically appear in the treatment plan (default setting)
Lab job: Allow to edit Order no
When creating a Laboratory Lab Sheet, the Order Number can be either sequential or the user can modify the Order Number.

- No: The Order Number is not editable (default setting)
- Yes: The Order Number is editable
Last order number
When creating a Lab Job Sheet, the Order Number used is determined by the number defined in the General Setting.- Last order number:
- The next Order Number is predetermined
List of codes (delimited by space) acceptable in TOOTH field (besides teeth codes)
When entering items into Treatment Plan or Treatment, only certain text can be entered into the Tooth column.
This is usually the tooth number, however other codes can be added.

There are currently some codes preset:
- Q1 Q2 Q3 Q4 (used for Perio)
- P/- P/ -/P /P L R (used for dentures, Left, right)
- Additional codes can be added, separated by a space
Lock Treatment notes history
When entering Clinical Notes into Treatment Plan or Treatment, the notes can be locked after a certain period of time.
- Lock Treatment notes history: Select the desired time period
Make Treatment Plans Inactive After x days of Completion
Treatment Plans can be marked as Inactive
after a determined number of days from the completion date.
This avoids the patient appearing in Incomplete Treatment Plan Queries and Reports.
- Make Treatment Plans Inactive After x days of Completion: Enter the required number of days
This is processed once per day. See Set Time to Check for Inactive Treatment Plans (see below section) to set the time of day to check for inactive Treatment Plans.

This avoids the patient appearing in Incomplete Treatment Plan Queries and Reports.

Multiple Locations: show only Providers and Assistants for the current location
When using a multiple location database, only Providers/Assistants for a specific location can be shown when entering items into Treatment.
This will minimise the list, making it easier to find the appropriate person/s

- Yes: Providers/Assistants in the current location are displayed
- No: Providers/Assistants from all locations are displayed (default setting)
Number of days to allow edit of Treatment / Treatment Plan
Editing of the Treatment/Treatment Plan is not allowed after this period.
- Number of days to allow edit of Treatment / Treatment Plan:
- Select from the following: 1 end of the day (default setting), 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7
Position of not invoiced treatment records
When items entered into Treatment are invoiced, the order of the items not invoiced can be determined.
- Position of not invoiced treatment records
- According to ID: Items will be displayed in the order they were entered (default setting)
- After invoiced records: Any items not invoiced will be displayed at the bottom of the list
Set E-mailed Treatment Plan to Presented
When a Treatment Plan is printed, the Treatment Plan status can be set to Presented automatically.
- Set e-mailed Treatment Plan to Presented:
- Yes: The Treatment Plan status will become Presented after being e-mailed (default setting)
Set Printed Treatment Plan to Presented
When a Treatment Plan is printed, the Treatment Plan status can be set to Presented automatically.

- Yes: The Treatment Plan status will become Presented after being printed (default setting)
Set Time to Check for Inactive Treatment Plans
Treatment Plans can be marked as Inactive after a determined number of days from the creation or completion (see above section) date.
This avoids the patient appearing in Incomplete Treatment Plan Queries and Reports.
- Check for Inactive Treatment Plans: Enter the required time to check for Inactive Treatment Plans (19:00 default)
Set Treatment Plan with Appointed Items to Accepted
When items from a Treatment Plan are linked to an appointment, the Treatment Plan status can be set to Accepted automatically.
- Set Treatment Plan with Appointed Items to Accepted:
- Yes: The Treatment Plan status will become Accepted after items are linked to an appointment
Setup to Search by Item Code and Description
Items can be searched by description in Treatment Plan and Treatment Tabs.

Setup Treatment Plan Statuses
Activate Treatment Plan Statuses to help view and track treatment plans.
- Set Printed Treatment Plan to Presented: Set as Yes to automatically mark the Treatment Plan status as Presented when the plan is printed
- Set e-mailed Treatment Plan to Presented: Set as Yes to automatically mark the Treatment Plan status as Presented when the plan is emailed to the patient
- Set Treatment Plan for items transferred to Treatment to Accepted: Set as Yes to automatically mark the Treatment Plan status as Accepted when there are multiple items in the Treatment Plan and not all items are transferred to Treatment
- Complete Treatment Plan with no outstanding items: Set as Yes to automatically mark Treatment Plan status as Completed when all items have been transferred to Treatment
- Set Treatment Plan with Appointed Items to Accepted: Set as Yes to automatically mark Treatment Plan status as Accepted when the plan is attached to the patient’s appointment
- Automatically reject Alternative Treatment Plans: Set as Yes to automatically mark Treatment Plan status as Rejected when at least one item of the alternative treatment has been accepted
- Make Treatment Plans inactive after x days of Creation: The default of this setting is 0. This can be changed if needed. The Active Treatment Plan check box is not automatically unticked. If this setting is changed, the Treatment Plan is marked as Inactive after the specified number of days after the plan was created. This applies to Treatment Plans that have not been completed.
- Make Treatment Plans inactive after x days of Completion: The default of this setting is 720. This can be changed if needed. The Active Treatment Plan check box is automatically unticked after the specified number of days after the plan is completed.
- Check for inactive Treatment Plan: The default of this setting is 19:00 (7pm). This can be changed if needed. The system will look at the Treatment Plans and will untick the Active Treatment Plan check box if any of the above conditions are met.
- Treatment Plan Completion item: An item can be setup as Treatment Plan Complete item. When this item is entered into Treatment Plan it is automatically set as Complete.
Show Active treatment Plans by default
When opening the Treatment Plan tab, the first plan seen is the latest active treatment plan.
- Show Active treatment Plans by default
- Yes: The latest active Treatment Plan will be displayed (default setting)
- No: The latest Treatment Plan will be displayed, regardless if it is active or not
Show dropdown list when incomplete/incorrect item is entered
When entering an item number that is incorrect or doesn't exist into Treatment Plan or Treatment, the system can display a list of items that match the criteria.
- Show dropdown list when incomplete/incorrect item is entered
- Yes: When entering an item in treatment if the code is incomplete or incorrect you may then select from list of items
- No: If an incomplete or incorrect item is entered the user will be forced to complete the correct code before proceeding
Show Gap column in Treatment/Treatment Plan
When using the Hicaps Quote feature via the Hicaps terminal, the rebate is generated and the Rebate column Is updated in the Treatment Plan/Treatment.- Show Gap column in Treatment/Treatment Plan:
- No: The Rebate column is NOT updated (default setting)
- Yes: The Rebate column is updated
Show item fees on each row of treatment plan printout
When previewing/printing a Treatment Plan, the fees of each individual item can be shown.

- No: The Grand Total will be displayed
Show Provider name Column in Treatment/Treatment Plan
When viewing the Treatment Plan or Treatment, the Provider's name can be displayed.
