New Features and / or Modules

National Dental Plan (NDP) powered by Zip

Zip payment plan terms can now be added to a Treatment Plan Printout and when using more than one BNPL (Buy now pay later) Provider, the user can select which payment plan terms to include on Treatment plan print out.  

When previewing a treatment plan printout the Zip payment terms can be updated to what would suit the patient better. For example they can be changed from 6 months to 24 months which in turn adjusts the amount of each monthly payment.

Enhancements & Additions to Existing Features
Appointment Book to Display Books based on Book Group Day 

When using Appointment book groups and a day is selected in the calendar only Appointment books will be visible according to what has been setup for that day in Book Groups setup. Ensure this general setting located in Location Setup > General Tab > Group: Appointment Book > Book Group Setup: Default View is based on? is set to Selected Date.

Scheduled Reports Parallel Run Times
Scheduled Reports can now be set to run at the same time.

Security Setting Added to Recalculate Fees
When a fee level is changed, security can be enabled for the prompt to update the fees in Treatment tab if un invoiced items are present.

Optimisations

  1. Ability to Send Queries to Guardians
  2. Last Patient List has been optimised to work with large usernames
  3. Allow D4W to choose a book for online booking
  4. NDP Applications menu option has both Humm and Zip options when active
  5. Gray colour now contrasting when setting up Breaks and Charting

New and Enhanced Features D4W 

eClaim Receiver ID Uniqueness

A new General Setting, eClaim Receiver ID Uniqueness, has been introduced to allow multiple insurance plans to share the same eClaim Receiver ID. With this new setting, user can now configure whether teh Receiver ID must be unique or can be shared across multiple plans. 

This feature provides greater flexibility for organisations with multiple locations and varying fee structures under the same insurance provider.

ePayments via eAppointments

Early Access to ePayments via eAppointments is available for Single merchant/ bank account surgeries. (Multiple merchant & bank account sites coming soon). This allows patients to pay a deposit when they book online with eAppointments. The practice can setup how much of a deposit patients are to pay.

Xero Integration
Early Access to Xero accounting integration via D4W. Xero can now be integrated with Dental4Windows so that your daily financial records can be exported to Xero. More information will be coming soon.

The Booking ID, Source Name, Source Ref fields have been added when printing a list of eAppointments in View eAppointments window.   

eForms Duration
New eForms durations can be added. These can then be selected when setting sync times.

Checkout the new service that allows patients to check in on their own devices or practice device. eKiosk is linked to eForms so patients can be redirected to fill out forms on their arrival.

Enhanced Colour Scheme
New colours are available to various areas in Appointment book and Charting. 

Security to Close an Appointment Book
When Closing an Appointment Book, security for this action can now be enabled. Users will need to enter their username and password to complete the action. 

Appointment Book: Day Information (All Books) Report added to Scheduled Reports
The Appointment Book report, Day Information (All Books) has been added to Scheduled Reports. 

NZ Dental Benefits 
Data entered into OHSA Summary Form has been adjusted to include treating providers details and signature. 

Inactive Providers in Standby & Cancellation Lists
Inactive providers can be shown in For Provider field in the Standby List and Provider field in the Cancelation List by ticking Show inactive provider. Here is more information on using the Standby List and Cancellation list

Queries: e-mail - Subject field 
When sending a Query Letter by email, the email Subject can be manually entered.

eKiosk
eKiosk is a service that allows patients to check in on their devices or on practice device to update their appointment status in D4W on their arrival at the practice. eKiosk can also be linked with eForms so patients are directed to fill out any due eForms. Contact us to setup eKiosk. 

Sterilisation
A prompt can be set up to enter Sterilisation barcodes when completing Checked In and further prompt if Checked In is missed.
