Items Category - Sub Category - Item Codes

Items Category - Sub Category - Item Codes in D4Web

Item codes/ procedures are organised and sit within a Category > Sub Category.
For instance: Items 511-515 sit under the Amalgam Sub Category which sits under the Restorative Category. 

Where to find the Items page

Click the navigation menu > Location Setup > Items page

Add a New Item Category

Follow the below steps when you do not have an existing Category and/or Sub-Category that relates to the item you want to add.
  1. Click CATEGORY
    1. Enter the name of the new category
    2. Click OK

Add a New Item Sub-Category

  1. Select the category to add the new sub-category to (e.g. Products)
  2. Click SUBCATEGORY
    1. Enter the name of the sub-category
    2. Click OK

Add New Item Code

  1. Select the category you wish to add the Item to - e.g. Products
  2. Next, select the subcategory - e.g. Toothpastes
  3. Click PROCEDURE 
    1. Item Code: There is space for 6 letters, numbers or symbols
    2. Description: Enter the item code description 
    3. Click OK
